Central idea
The poet has rightly presented the importance of perfect life b
comparing the lives of an oak tree and a flower of lily. An oak
tree completes its life in three hundred years, but remains
useless because it does not provide anything like shade, fruits
and beauty to others, On the other hand, a lily flower blossoms
in the morning and lives up to evening; in that short span of life,
it provides pleasure and freshness to everybody with its beauty
and light. We can also make our life meaningful in a short span
by doing noble deeds rather than merely growing in size and
living for a longer time.
